“Reid, what do you think you are doing to Asha? She just wants you to like her.”
“I'm a bad influence.”
“Oh, that is the stupidest thing I have heard you say in a long time!”
“What?”
“You're a good guy, Reid. You just also happen to be a sad guy. Don't let that fool you into
thinking that you don't deserve nice things.”
“What are you telling me to do, date her?”
“I'm not giving any advice on that score. I'm just telling you to be honest with yourself so you stop punishing her.”
“If anything, I'm punishing me.”
“Yeah, and that's stupid too. You've got enough to be miserable about. Don't make it worse over something so minor.”
“You trust me?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“That is none of your business.”
